Scott Mechlowicz has only been on screen since 2003, but his coming out film was a lucky break that he is known for. He played the role of Smee in Neverland (2003) which gave him a kick-start to the role that he became more well-known for. in 2004, Scott appeared in the starring role of the adventure comedy Eurotrip which gave him a tremendous boost in his acting career. Scott seems to have hit the ground running, and in the right direction to boot.
Mechlowicz appeared in one episode of the television series House M.D. (2004). His main thrust has been in the film category. You may have also seen him as Marty Blank in Mean Creek (2004), which was just his second film role. He went on to play the lead roles in Peaceful Warrior (2006); Undocumented (2010); and received second billing in Gone (2006). Not too bad at all, for having just arrived on the scene.
Scott also appeared in Waiting For Forever (2010); Cat Run (2011) and Eden (2012). The momentum that this young actor has gained since his initial role has been what some would call lucky, getting a few major breaks in succession, however; in addition to luck, Scott Mechlowicz had that something extra that made him a good gamble for casting agents, that paid off. He performed well and made great impressions. This young actor was fortunate to have the a healthy combination of all the right elements from the get go.
Scott Mechlowicz is currently working in the film Demonic (2014). It is currently in the post-production stage. Fans are eagerly awaiting its release. If his past performances are any indicator, this new film is going to be a must watch, but for now, we'll just have to wait and see.
