Former Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean, whose character Ned Stark was killed off in the first season of the hit HBO fantasy series, has admitted that he would love to return to the show. Sean claims that, while it may sound silly, there is a possibility of having Ned Stark in flashbacks.

Bean explained to The Hollywood Reporter, "It's great! I just thought, I should get back in it again. I know that's a really stupid thing to say. I've been very impressed by it. Lena Headey, she's wonderful in it, Peter Dinklage is great." He then went on to discuss a possible return in a flashback.
Sean added, "It's a possibility. There is some mention of flashback with Ned Stark so that'd be nice, just to pop in again and get me crackle on." Bean then joked about the fact that he has perfected onscreen dying, as he always seems to be killed off.

He continued, "I'll have to remember that - I'm a really good dier. I've been fortunate that I've [had] a lot of good heroic deaths." Game of Thrones has been renewed for a third season, which will air around April 2013.
Game of Thrones season two continues on HBO every Sunday night in the US and on Sky Atlantic every Monday night in the UK.
