There has been a mixed reaction to the fact that a new American Pie movie has been made, with many questioning the need for it, while others are overly excited about. Seann William Scott is set to reprise his role as Stifler in American Reunion and he claims that you do not have to be a fan of the American Pie movies to enjoy American Reunion, as it has more of a grown up vibe about it.
Seann explained, Yeah. Honestly, that movie ended up so good, and it was such a fun thing to do. As much as I want to do different kind of movies, I really love that character, and I’d love to do another one. I don’t know what the idea would be, but the movie was awesome. What’s great about it, is that they’re adults now.”
He added, “You don’t have to like American Pie to enjoy this. If you enjoy Role Models, or the Apatow films, this kind of fits in there. These guys are now adults, and it’s more relatable things.
