Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are considered one of young Hollywood’s golden couple – but is it all just for show? Radar Online is reporting that the relationship has become more for their careers than it is genuine, with their sources saying that both Bieber and Gomez have been fighting non-stop as of late.
Radar’s source says, “Selena and Justin’s relationship isn’t the fairytale romance they’d like their fans to believe it is. Justin’s heart is with Selena because she’s his first true love, but Selena is pretty much just riding out the relationship because she knows he’s good for her image. Dating Justin is good for Selena’s brand. Together they’re a brand! Everyone in Selena’s camp is aware of Justin’s star power and is urging her to make it work with him.” The source also adds that the couple has been unsteady of late and are breaking up ‘regularly’, also adding, “Let’s just say that if for some reason Justin’s star ever fell, Selena would drop him immediately.”
Bieber was recently on Oprah and actually commented on his relationship with Gomez, saying that it was special and different. He said, “Sometimes… sometimes we gotta to take the back exits and do different things, but I never make her separate from me cause I don’t want her to feel like I’m ashamed of her. I feel like a lot of guys do that — especially in the business. They don’t want to be seen with their girl so they’ll make them ride in separate cars and do all that ‘getaway’ stuff. When we get away, we’re getting away together.”
