It seems that Selena Gomez is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Friends star Jennifer Aniston by making the transition from a successful television series in to movies but hopefully she will have a better impact on the big screen. Selena also admitted that, while she does hope to have a lot of success as an actress, she will never give up on her music career.
Gomez explained, "Working on Wizards made me realize what an impact a weekly show can have on building support for you as an artist. I'd love to be part of another ensemble series, something contemporary and kooky and funny and a bit romantic. Like Friends was back when it started. Of course, I want to make feature films, ideally dramatic ones and I know you have to be careful about how you do it."
She added, "I'd like to grow with my music. It's really a passion of mine. I want to have fun with it and make my fans happy with what I sing. I love it and want it to be a part of my life forever." Selena Gomez recently admitted that she often becomes annoyed and frustrated by the jealous fans of her boyfriend Justin Bieber but that she can understand why they dislike her.
