Zac Efron has a new interview with Marie Claire UK, promoting his new film ‘Paperboy’, co-starring Nicole Kidman and John Cusack.
When talking about the sex scene that takes place between his character and Kidman’s character, Efron told Blackbook magazine, “I've never been so scared in my life, but that moment affirmed this movie was everything I set out to do.”

He now adds that, “[On the first day of filming] Nicole just completely went for it. She was telling everyone “I'm bringing my A-game. What do you have?”'
Efron was also previously quoted as saying that the love scenes with Kidman were the ‘highlight’ of his life, saying, ‘The love scenes with Nicole Kidman were the highlight of my life. Every scene felt like I was in Moulin Rouge.’
Efron has seemed to be making a concerted effort to move away from his Disney image after the High School Musical movies ended, and has appeared in a range of movies – he’s acted in a Nicholas Sparks movie, but has also done broad comedy in ’17 Again’, as well as independent movies in the upcoming ‘Liberal Arts’.
Paperboy is set to release October 5th, and be sure to have lots of fans flocking to theaters to see the steamy scenes between Efron and Kidman.
