There are a lot of beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood at the moment and one of the most sought after stars among the bunch would have to be Shailene Woodley, who has been in the movie making industry for a number of years now. We have been given some fantastic performances from Shailene over the years and we look forward to even more in the future.
Shailene Woodley played the role of Tris in the movie Divergent earlier in the year and she will reprise her role for the sequel Insurgent, which has already started filming. There have been a number of changes from Divergent to Insurgent and Shailene has been talking about the differences between the two films.
Woodley explained, "We’re in Atlanta, it’s summer, it’s not cold, Chicago winter. Our director is different, the set design is different, the costumes are different. It feels much bigger. It’s interesting because the movie feels bigger in tone and in image but in a scene it feels smaller. Some scenes feel like we’re doing an indie film in a way because they’re so full of truth."
As well as talking about how Insurgent feels different from Divergent in a number of different ways, Shailene Woodley also went on to talk about her experience of working with new director Robert Schwentke, who takes the reins from Neil Burger. Shailene says that Robert is a bit of a perfectionist and takes his time to make sure everything is just right.
Woodley added, "[He's] really, really keen on making sure we feel comfortable with a scene as well as he feels comfortable with a scene. Until it has the right flow or the right tone, he won’t move on and that’s a big blessing in a big movie like this."
Insurgent will open on March 20, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
