Shannon Elizabeth is busy promoting her new low-budget independent film 'A Green Story', which focuses on the creation of an Earth Friendly cleaning products company. During the premiere of the film, Shannon reveals that she would rather do more indie films with good messages than films like 'American Pie'.
Shannon Elizabeth, of course, is best known for role as foreign-exchange student Nadia in the American Pie series, but she reveals that she's trying to move away from that. She explains, "I haven't done a role like the American Pie stuff in a while, this is more going along the direction of who I really am, this is much more comfortable for me."
She adds, "I am always trying to be green and environmental, I'm vegan and it's how I live my life and I've been wanting to do a project that is meaningful. When I read the script I knew it was what I wanted to do."
'A Green Story' also stars Billy Zane [best known for Titanic], Ed O'Ross, and Malcom McDowell [best known for Clockwork Orange]. In addition to 'A Green Story', Shannon Elizabeth also has films called 'Golden Winter', 'In the Dark' [a TV movie], and The Outsider coming out in 2013.
