Shia LaBeouf has already confirmed that he will not be returning to star in another Transformers movie and now, he has spoken in a bit more depth about his exit from the movie franchise. Shia claims that he has nothing left to give in the Transformers films and also admits that he sees nowhere for his character Sam to go.
LaBeouf explained, "Nobody really cares about Sam anymore...he has no purpose, there's nothing sacred in his life. This is the most broken that Sam's ever been and you start there and he sort of builds himself back up throughout the course of the film. I'm sure they'll make more of them, it's still a very hot franchise. I'm not sure I have anything more to contribute. I love making them, I love the crew, I love Michael, I love the cast, I love Sam. I like doing it but I don't have anything new to contribute and I don't think there's anywhere to take Sam really."
Shia LaBeouf recently admitted that he and his former Transformers co star Megan Fox, became romantically involved while filming the first two Transformers movies. Shia also confessed that he felt Megan’s sacking from the franchise was a blessing as it helped his character grow. Transformers: Dark of the Moon is at cinemas now.
