When director Michael Bay initially claimed that he was finished with the Transformers franchise, following the third film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, his leading man Shia LaBeouf followed him out the door. Shia said that he looked up to Michael like a father and that he did not want to do the movies without him.
However, Michael Bay then had a change of heart and decided that he did want to continue directing the Transformers franchise. He has since revealed that he will have an all new cast, with Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor leading the way, as well as all new autobots.
This led many to believe that Shia LaBeouf would have no part to play in Transformers 4 but it seems that we may have been a bit too hasty. It has now been reported that Shia LaBeouf has been brought on board to voice one of the new autobots in Transformers 4.
As of yet, it is not exactly known which autobots will be appearing in Transformers 4, so we have no idea who Shia LaBeouf will be voicing. It will be interesting to see which autobots do appear and as soon as we know who Shia LaBeouf id voicing in Transformers 4, we will let you know.
