Actor Shia LaBeouf was awarded a judgement of approximately $1 million against his uncle for a loan that he provided him in 2009 to help his failing employment business from going under. There were specific repayment conditions required which his uncle did not meet and it resulted in him filing a lawsuit and receiving this recent judgment.
The fact that Shia LaBeouf followed this case through to the very end to receive a judgment in his favour has provided much hope to entertainment insiders, filmmakers and very likely his own agents that he has regained his 'focus' and might soon be ready to return to acting.
Further hope about his career has developed as he was photographed going to the gym in Hollywood and looking as if he is getting back into shape. For entertainment insiders and his fans any positive actions for him such as going to the gym or following through with a lawsuit provide them hope because after his recent public embarrassments which consisted of him being accused of stealing a story and appearing at a red carpet event with a bag over his head it looked like his career was about to be destroyed.
Shia LaBeouf addressing his business affairs such as pursuing the repayment of a loan gives filmmakers some hope that he might soon be able to bring his acting talents to a film.
He has displayed superior acting ability in roles such as "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" but it is his public appearances and comments on social media that cause filmmakers concern. He has been photographed wearing the same exact outfit to the gym two days in a row, walking around looking like a hobo and making very questionable social media comments that cause concern about whether he is someone that can be counted on to add value to a movie.
Shia LaBeouf is showing signs that he might he can be part of a movie in the future but the jury is still out if he understands that like it or not he will have to change how he presents himself in public and likely should avoid social media completely.
Will a filmmaker take a chance on Shia LaBeouf in the near future is one of the big questions of 2014 in the film industry.
