It seems that the feud between Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh on The X Factor has come to such a bad point that Simon Cowell has felt the need to step in. Simon has sent in healer Hazel Taylor to try and get Gary and Louis back on talking terms and getting along, at least for the sake of the show.
A show insider explained, “We need all the help we can get. You can cut the atmosphere with a knife so the healer was brought in to try and see off the bad energy and bring the fun back. Hopefully, all of the last week's negativity will be over and we can have a laugh again.”
However, it appears that the healer has not been as effective as Simon Cowell would like, as Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow still seem to be unhappy with each other. The strain has continued to show following the visit from the healer and people will be waiting nervously in case anything happens on tonight’s show.
The source added, “The atmosphere was still a bit strained between Louis and Gary at soundcheck yesterday. Everyone is waiting to see what happens [tonight] and to find out whether they'll be friends or not.”
It is not the first time that Simon Cowell has used a healer, after he brought one into his house to help to cleanse his home. The X Factor continues on ITV1 tonight at 8:20pm.
