Dubstep producer Skrillex has revealed how he met his girlfriend Ellie Goulding and that he is in love with the English singer, calling her his girl. Skrillex admitted that he approached Ellie via e-mail and from there the pair began to text each other, before finally going public as a romantic item, attending the Grammy Awards together.
Skrillex explained, "I sent her an e-mail, like, 'I'm Skrillex. I don't know if you know who I am, but I love your s**t'. We started texting and talking on the phone. Just randomly, when she was in New York, she flew out to Memphis for a couple of days to see me. I wanted to take her to the Grammys and have a seat for her. I love her. She's my f**king girl."
Skrillex went on to win three awards at the Grammys, Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical), Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album. Ellie Goulding was previously dating Radio One DJ Greg James but he has insisted that he has no hard feelings over the relationship ending and he will be a grown up about it and continue to play both Ellie Goulding and Skrillex songs on his radio show.
