Next year will see the battle of the Snow Whites as Relativity Media’s Brothers Grimm: Snow White takes on Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman, and it’s the former, featuring Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lily Collins as Snow White, which has taken a head start, by getting filming underway first.

While Brothers Grimm: Snow White has already begun filming this week, Snow White and the Huntsman are still assembling a cast. It has been revealed that Ian McShane has signed on to play Caesar, the leader of the seven dwarfs. Shooting for Snow White and the Huntsman is set to begin in September.
Ian McShane joins an all star cast in Snow White and the Huntsman. Kristen Stewart is set to star as Snow White with Charlize Theron in line to play her evil stepmother. Brothers Grimm: Snow White is due to be released on March 16, 2012, whereas Snow White and the Huntsman will be released on June 1, 2012.
