Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara has revealed how she had never planned to remarry after her first marriage broke down. Sofia was married to her childhood sweetheart Joe Gonzalez and they had son Manolo together but the couple divorced almost twenty years ago.
Sofia recently announced that she and her current boyfriend Nick Loeb have become engaged but she did not think that she would ever marry again. Despite that, Sofia admits that she is currently extremely happy with Nick and loves how much she loves him.
Vergara explained, “I never really planned on getting married again. I had my son and it just wasn't a priority. But I love being in love, and I'm very happy right now. It's perfect.” Meanwhile, Sofia states that she is very close to her 20 year old son Manolo.
She added, “We're very close because I got divorced when he was just one, so it's been the two of us. I divide my time between New York and Los Angeles, but I used to always say home is where my son is. But he's now in college in Boston and my home is definitely not Boston - it's too cold!”
Sofia Vergara recently revealed how she is often mistaken for her son’s sister and she enjoys it so much that she does not correct people.
