Machete Kills is gearing up for promotion as the September release date grows closer. Machete Kills is a star-studded film, filled with the likes of Jessica Alba, Charlie Sheen, Damien Bichir, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Zoe Saldana, Antonio Banderas, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexa Vega, Cuba Gooding Jr., and a special appearance by Lady Gaga.

A new poster for the film has been released, featuring Sofia Vergara as Desdemona in 'Machete Kills'. The poster is definitely catering to the film's target audience, most of whom are previous fans of Robert Rodriguez.
The official synopis of Machete Kills, courtesy of IMDB, is "The U.S. government recruits Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space."

This film is the second in the Machete series, continued after the first film 'Machete', which released in 2010. Danny Trejo reprises his lead role in 'Machete Kills', and Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez also reprise their roles from the first film. The film is being distributed by Open Road Films, and is set to come out on September 13th of this year. Many are predicting the film to do big business, especially due to the bevy of stars filling its cast roster.
