The third season premiere of Game of Thrones is approaching and fans have been excited for the incoming barrage of television spots, advertisements, and interviews that will come along as part of the promotion. Although fans of the novels and especially of ‘A Storm of Swords’ [the third book which will serve as the basis for the third season] know what’s coming in Season 3, it’s still exciting to see how the show will adapt it visually.
Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, has revealed some details about the third season, saying [to Brandon Sun], “I can tell you that Sansa kind of goes through this little roller coaster on season 3 emotionally, she kind of gets her hopes up a little at times and they kind of get crushed — as per (usual) pretty much, nothing much different. It's very emotionally testing for Sansa this season."
She also reveals that she spends a lot of time with Peter Dinklage’s character, Tyrion Lannister – to reveal why would be spoiling the season, but Sophie does say, “Peter's such a cool guy, he's amazing to act alongside with and I think I've been really lucky in terms of having worked with Sean Bean closely — him being my dad, (Ned Stark) — and now Peter, I'm very lucky getting to work in scenes with these guys because they're big successful actors.”
In addition to Game of Thrones, which looks like it will continue throughout the entire [rumored] seven/eight seasons because of its massive success, Turner has also been exploring her film career. She appears in a mystery film with Claire Forlani and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers called ‘Panda Eyes’ and she is rumored to be auditioning for some pretty big parts in franchise films in Hollywood.
