As we are all very aware by now, Sony have agreed to let Marvel use Spider-Man as part of their cinematic universe, delighting comic book fans around the world. The fans have been calling for Spider-Man to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for years now and they have finally got their wish, believing that Marvel can bring us the Spider-Man movie we deserve.
Meanwhile, there was a lot of talk about the future of Andrew Garfield continuing in the role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, now that the character had moved over to Marvel. While some fans wanted the actor to continue in the role, others called for a fresh face to take over and it seems that Marvel want to go with a younger actor to play Spider-Man in their movies.
This has led to a whole host of names being thrown out there, including the likes of Zac Efron, Loga Lerman, Dylan O'Brien, and Anton Yelchin, among others. While there has still not been any official news on which actor will be cast as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there have been rumours and suggestions that we could still see Spidey appear in the end credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
It is claimed that we would just get a glimpse of Spider-Man suited up and that he would not actually say anything, which would make perfect sense and be easy to do, since no actor has yet been cast in the role. With that said though, it has also been claimed that we will first see the new Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. We guess we will just have to wait and see.
Do you think we could see Spider-Man in the Avengers: Age of Ultron end credits scene?
