Step by Step is coming back to the small screen thanks to The Hub, which will begin airing the series on Monday, October 7. The show originally aired seven seasons from 1991-1998, six on ABC and one on CBS.
The comedy featured Patrick Duffy as Frank Lambert, a single father of three who meets and quickly falls in love with single mother of three Carol Foster, played by Suzanne Somers. The show was a re-imagining of The Brady Brunch. The sitcom was Staci Keanan's second big role as a child actor, where she played Foster's tomboy daughter, Alicia.
Staci began acting at the age of four, and before she appeared in Step by Step, she played Nicole Bradford on the series 'My Two Dads.' The young actress won the 1988 Young Artist Award for her performance on the show, which went off the air in 1990.
When Step by Step ended, Keanan went on to continue making a name for herself taking roles on '7th Heaven,' '3rd Rock From the Sun,' 'Boston Public,' and 'Veronica Mars.' She eventually left show business and earned her a bachelor's degree in communications from UCLA. Her last role was Becky Weaver in the 2010 movie 'Death and Cremation.' Other than that, no much has been heard from the actress.
