The Marvel Cinematic Universe is huge right now and getting bigger all the time. Samuel L Jackson is regarded as one of the biggest and best actors in Hollywood, with a lot of fans loving him in the role of Nick Fury in the Marvel movies. However, there is one person who has not been too impressed by Nick Fury in the films, and that is none other than Stan Lee.
Stan Lee was telling fans of the things that he has not been impressed with in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and, after admitting that he was not sure why they changed the meaning of S.H.I.E.L.D., Stan also admitted that he wished Samuel L Jackson would play an angrier Nick Fury.
Lee stated, "And another thing that bothers me, not about [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.], but S.H.I.E.L.D. in general in the movies, is the fella who plays Colonel Fury."
He then added, "He’s a friend of mine I don’t remember his name, but Sam Jackson can do the best angry tough guy can imagine. And every time I see him in the movies, he's so quiet and soft and I'm waiting for him to get excited and yell at people and he never does. So, I don't know why they don't make him like I picture him being."
We will next get to see Samuel L Jackson on the big screen in the role of Nick Fury in the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, which is currently filming. Avengers: Age of Ultron is again directed by Joss Whedon and will open on May 1, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
