Actress Stana Katic is the co-star of the hit ABC television series "Castle" which is enough of a reason for her male and female fans to consistently watch her show irrespective of what time it may be shown on television. However, there is now another reason to watch her according to her fans and that is because she is also someone who cares about the environment.
Men generally don't need an excuse to watch her on television as she is one of the few women who is able to motivate men to sit down and watch her nighttime drama in large part because she is beautiful, intelligent, sensual and strong on the show as Detective Kate Beckett but she has taken things a step further with her endorsement of the Alternative Travel Project.
The stunning actress who had some fans in literal tears earlier this summer when she hinted that this might be the last season of her on "Castle" put a smile on the faces of many of her fans with her appearance on the videos of the 'Alternative Travel Project'. In the videos she and Castle co-star Seamus Deaver have been encouraging fans and other people to give up their cars for one day and take an alternative form of transportation to help ease the pressure on the environment.
It is an indication of the appeal of Stana Katic that some of her male and female fans on social media have actually been talking about the benefit to the environment by following her example and considering either taking the bus or biking for one day.
'Castle' returns to the airwaves on Monday September 29 on ABC but Stana Katic has been making waves on the set with the different plot twists, her growing appeal as not just a television actress but movie actor which resulted in her filming "The Tourist" during the summer 2014 break and now her advocating of the "Alternative Travel Project".
