The news that Disney have bought LucasFilm and are planning to make more Star Wars movies is still extremely fresh in everybody’s minds. However, we have all had a little bit of time to let the news settle in and fans of the Star Wars franchise have been giving their views on the decision.
While most of the fans of the Star Wars franchise have continually criticised George Lucas for returning to fiddle with the Star Wars movies time and again, that has not stopped them from paying money to go and watch the Star Wars films on the big screen.
These fans have again been expressing their disappointment at a Star Wars Episode 7 movie being made, stating that there is no need for it and it is just another money grabbing idea that will further destroy the legacy of the great Star Wars movies, yet they are bound to put that money into the pockets by paying for a ticket to see it.
However, there are also some fans who are looking forward to seeing Star Wars Episode 7, as George Lucas will not be directing the movie. There is quite an excitement over what a new director will bring to the movie and how the story is set to pan out for Star Wars Episode 7.
