There has been a lot of talk about the possibility of there being an Indiana Jones 5 movie being made and it seemed that it was much more likely to happen than another Star Wars movie. However, things have now changed and it appears to be the other way round.

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones
Since Disney acquired LucasFilm for $4.05bn it has been confirmed that they are going to look into making a Star Wars Episode 7 movie and have decided to kill any plans for an Indiana Jones 5 film. This news has been met with mixed reactions from fans of both films around the world.
Fans of the Indiana Jones franchise were disappointed with the last movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, so will be pleased to see that an Indiana Jones 5 is no longer being made. However, fans of the Star Wars franchise will be disappointed that a new movie is being made, as they feel the legacy is hurt every time it is revisited.

Harrison Ford as Han Solo
The news that the Indiana Jones 5 movie is going to be replaced by a Star Wars Episode 7 film could mean that Harrison Ford could be set to play a part in the new Star Wars film. By not having to play Indiana Jones, he could be free to reprise his role of Han Solo for Star Wars Episode 7.
