Stephan El Shaarawy wants to be a starter in the regular lineup of AC Milan and he is not happy about being on the bench. Usually such words could create some issues with the coach but his words of discontent actually put a smile on the face of AC Milan coach Pippo Inzaghi who is pleased that his talented striker wants to be back in the starting lineup.
He has been in and out of the starting lineup since his return from injury which has been frustrating to Il Faraone who has made no secret of his desire to earn a place onto the Italian national team and to accomplish this goal he must score goals. The footballer's desire to get back on the pitch is earning him praise from his fans and some social media footballer observers who remember him as a young player who at times seemed more interested in the name on the back of his shirt instead of the name on the front.
His desire to get back on the pitch however requires that he distinguish himself in training and off the pitch as Pippo Inzaghi is one who demands that players adhere to the AC Milan way both on and in particular off the pitch which means a regimented diet, early wake up calls and goals.
The media has tried to create a controversy between Stephan El Shaarawy and his manager Pippo Inzaghi but the manager noted that he was also a striker who lived to score goals and he understands the desire of Stephan El Shaarawy to score and the frustration that develops when one has not scored.
Stephan El Shaarawy is very much in the plans of AC Milan and their manager Pippo Inzaghi but he is learning a valuable lesson in that he must take advantage of his opportunities when they present themselves on the pitch which after this stint on the bench will likely ensure is something he will not forget.
