While it is probably fair to say that the DC movies have not exactly been doing justice to the comic books that we have all grown to love, there are many who feel that the DC television shows are actually doing a much better job of giving fans what they want. The CW shows have been leading the way on this, with some great crossover shows, which have been led from the beginning by Arrow.
Actor Stephen Amell plays the role of Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow in the hit The CW and DC TV series, and the star has been talking about the progress over the series. With Arrow season six just around the corner, fans have been hoping that the show can get back to its best, after some average seasons, and Stephen has also been sharing his hopes for what they can achieve in season six.
Amell was recently talking about his hopes for the new season, when he stated, "The thing I ask myself whenever I’m reading a script this year and it comes down to an Oliver-based issue is, ‘is he handling this like someone who has learned lessons along the way?"
He added, "If he’s not, then we change it because if he hasn’t taken away stuff from everything that has happened in the last five years, including and especially what happened at the end of season 5, then if I were a viewer, I would be like ‘Alright, enough with this guy."
Arrow season six is set to premiere on Thursday, October 12 on The CW in the US, before then being aired on Sky1 in the UK a short time after.
