When it comes to superhero television shows, it is fair to say that the best place to air them would have to be The CW, which has been leading the way with shows such as Arrow and The Flash. There are plenty more comic book shows set to hit the small screen in the coming years but they will need to be pretty impressive to compete with these two shows.
Arrow aired its season three finale earlier in the year, which showed us Oliver Queen driving off into the sunset with Felicity Smoak, begging the question, what is going to happen to The Arrow in season four of the series. Well, Stephen Amell, who plays the lead role of Oliver Queen in Arrow, has teased just what it might be that brings his character back to Starling City.
If you can remember, when Oliver Queen left Starling City, his younger sister Thea Queen, played by Willa Holland, took on the Arsenal costume and became a hero in her own right, Speedy. Well, it looks like Speedy has been watching over Starling City in The Arrows absence but could well need his help with something.
During in Twitter Q&A with Stephen Amell, one excited fan asked "@amellywood Hi Stephen, Three words describing 401? #AskAmell," to which the actor replied, "What's wrong Speedy?" This is what has led to many people suggesting that Oliver Queen will return to Starling City to help his sister. For now though, we guess we will just have to wait and see.
Arrow season 4 will premiere on The CW in October.
