When it comes to the hit The CW television series Arrow, they have always claimed that they would not tease something that would not come into play later down the line. So, when it was revealed that Oliver Queen has a secret son that he does not know about, many fans were excited to see what would happen when Oliver finally finds out about him.
However, Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim claimed that they have no plans to have a storyline about Oliver Queen and his son, much to the disappointment of the fans. Now though, actor Stephen Amell, who plays the role of Oliver Queen has admitted that he would love to see that storyline take place, and Stephen even went as far as to suggest it would happen in the future.
Amell explained, "Me personally being a dad, I would love to see how Oliver interacts with having a kid. Now obviously, it would be a different experience from that experience, but I think that that storyline deserves further attention."
He added, "One of the big tenets of Greg Berlanti is you don’t introduce something to the audience and you don’t tease it if you are not going to follow through with it in some way, shape or form. So I think it’s a safe bet that Oliver will find out about his child at some point."
It will be interesting to see just what they do decide to do with Oliver Queen's son and whether the character will find out that he is a father in the new season of the show. Watch this space!
