Those of you who are hardcore True Blood fans will remember that Stephen Moyer has already directed and episode of True Blood in the past. Stephen directed Somebody That I Used to Know last season, which saw Sookie (Anna Paquin) take on her mother’s memories and discover who killed her parents.
Now, according to true-blood.net, it has been confirmed that Stephen Moyer will be taking to the director’s chair again. This time, Stephen will be directing the first episode of the sixth season of the hit HBO vampire series.
True Blood have developed a trend for naming their episodes after song titles and season six episode one will be no different. The episode will be called Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, after the 1964 hit from the soul singer Nina Simone.
While Stephen Moyer will be directing True Blood season six episode one, it will be penned by co-executive producer Raelle Tucker. Raelle is no stranger to writing a True Blood episode, as he has already written ten episodes of the series to date.
True Blood Season Six Episode One is set to premiere on HBO in June 2013.
