It seems that Hollywood director Steven Spielberg is aiming to get his next two films out in time to pull in the Christmas holiday crowd. It is rare for Steven to release two of his own movies so close together, but since they are aimed at two completely different audiences, he feels the gamble is worth it.
The first of Spielberg’s releases is the big screen adaptation of The Adventures of Tintin, which is set to hit the big screen in the US on December 23.Then, just a mere five days later, Spielberg will be unleashing the World War I drama War Horse upon the US movie goers.
While Tintin may seem like a big gamble to people in the US, it does have a huge fan base across the globe and is very likely to be a worldwide success. Meanwhile, War Horse is based on a boy looking for his horse during World War I, so could equally be considered a gamble. It will be interesting to see how well these two do against each other.
