Legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg has revealed how he is turning his back on action movies, as they no longer have the same appeal to him as they once did. Steven has made some huge Hollywood blockbusters, including Indiana Jones and Jaws, but he has decided to try his hand at something different.

During a TV interview for 60 Minutes, Spielberg explained, “I knew I could do the action in my sleep at this point in my career. In my life, the action doesn't hold any... it doesn't attract me anymore.”
Steven also admitted that he was very shocked at how well received his 1993 movie Schindler’s List was. Spielberg stated that he was not expecting to film to resonate with the viewers, which was the main reason that he chose to shoot it in black and white.

He added, “I did everything I needed to do to tell the story the way I thought the story should be told, to give it as much integrity as I could, never expecting it to make a dollar.”
Steven Spielberg’s new movie Lincoln, which stars Daniel Day Lewis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is set to be released on November 16 in the US and January 25, 2013 in the UK.
