It has been confirmed that rookie judge Steven Tyler, will be returning for another season of American Idol when it returns next year. Steven will once again sit alongside regular judge Randy Jackson, who has already confirmed that he will be returning to American Idol.
The third member of this seasons judging panel was Jennifer Lopez, however she has declared that she is still on the fence over whether to return or not. Many fans claim that this seasons American Idol judging panel was the best yet and would love to see all three return.
Season 10 of American Idol saw 17 year old Scotty McCreery win in the final, beating 16 year old Lauren Alaina into second place. It will be interesting to see how new singing competition The X Factor fairs when it is released in the US later in the year.
