It has been confirmed that the hit US legal drama Suits has been given the go ahead for a third season. Suits airs in the US in the USA Network, who have agreed that the success of the second season warrants continuing for a third season. The show is also shown in the UK on the channel Dave.

Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel of USA Network issued a statement which read, “Quite simply, Suits is as good as it gets. Sophisticated storytelling, sharp dialogue and award-worthy performances make this show a cornerstone of our original programming lineup.”
The official announcement that Suits would be given a third season was made today, delighting fans of the show around the world. Season one of Suits was a great, fresh take on the typical legal drama, with clever and witty storylines along with the mix of love.

Following the success of season one, it was interesting to see how season two would fair but there was no need to worry, Suits season two was even better than season one and took the show to a new level. Now here’s hoping that season three can go even further.
Suits stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams are currently on a mid season break before returning in January 2013.
