Actress Summer Glau has become a household name, thanks to her portrayal of the character Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Summer began making her name as an actress, after winning over the likes of The Avengers director Joss Whedon.

Glau explained, "When you're first starting out as an actress you audition for everything and you never know what's going to hit. And my first job was with Joss Whedon." Summer and Joss have since worked together on a number of projects, including Firefly, which Summer rates as her favourite role to date.
However, Summer Glau is probably best known for her role in the hit television series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, although she almost did not bother going to audition for the role that has made her a worldwide star.

Summer added, "I did not want to go to the audition and my mum got really upset and yelled at me and said, 'Get your rear end in the car! You're an actress, go and audition.'"
Summer Glau is set to appear as a guest at the Supanova Pop Culture Expo. in Melbourne, Australia this weekend (April 13-15).
