While it is fair to say that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is miles ahead of the DC Cinematic Universe, continuing to get bigger and better on a yearly basis, things on the small screen are much different. DC have been giving us some brilliant television shows over the past few years and they have plenty more coming up over the course of the coming year or so.
Following the success of Smallville, which focused on the early years of Superman, a Green Arrow series then came, which was titled Arrow. Since then, we have seen The Flash appear in an episode of Arrow and will get his own television series this year. Meanwhile, we are also getting a Constantine television series, while there is also going to be Gotham.
Now it has been claimed that there are plans afoot for a Supergirl television series to get made. Michael Green is attached to the Supergirl project as a producer and a writer and, while it has not yet been given the green light, fans are already talking about what would be best for the Supergirl television series.
Since The CW has been enjoying success with Arrow, while The Flash is set to premiere later in the year, with the two shows also crossing over for a few episodes, fans feel that The CW would be the perfect place for Supergirl, with all three characters popping up in each others shows. It is certainly something worth thinking about.
Would you be interested in seeing a Supergirl television series or would you prefer that they save her for the big screen?
