Rachel Miner may have gotten her start as Michelle Bauer on Guiding Light, but it is her role of Meg on the CW's Supernatural that has earned her the admiration of fans all over the world. With several awards and an Emmy nod under her belt, Miner is now setting her sights behind the camera.
In a recent interview, the beautiful TV star answered a few questions about future projects. While she does have some things lined up in the acting field, the actress says she's feeling inspired in another direction:
"I also have been more inspired behind the camera as of late. I, perhaps superstitiously, don't love talking about things until they are fully realized, but I will definitely update as things progress!"
As for what else inspires her? Supernatural fans. "I have been, very much, impressed with the talents of so many Supernatural watchers! Having had the chance to see some of the work (video edits, writings, drawings, etc.), I am humbled by the extent of artistic ability present."
Rachel also has a new independent film coming up, East of Acadia. In it, she plays Clair, a writer working to overcome her past. She describes the character as "intelligent, sensitive, contemplative" and "in many respects the antitheses of most of the roles I have done."
While Supernatural has been renewed for another season, Rachel says she doesn't know if she'll be asked to appear on the show again, though she says she would never turn down a request from the show.
