Due to her constant work ethic in 2013, Finnish model Suvi Koponen was seen in a handful of prestige fashion magazines and in countless of high-end runway shows.
Suvi began the year by traveling to France, where she landed the cover of French Vogue; she then parted to Russia and landed the cover of Russian Vogue. Both magazines went on sell in the month of March—this is a feature that only a few models have been able to accomplish. Shortly after this, this married lady of porcelain skin went to model the spring and summer collections of Alberta Ferreti, Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Gucci, Marni, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Vikor & Rolf and many others.
Suvi loved that her makeup was pretty and simple for all of these runway shows. Like many other of her fellow models, Mrs. Koponen had a cold during the entire spring and summer fashion week but managed to put on a great walk accompanied by a bright and joyful smile.
During the fall and winter fashion week, she reappeared at runway shows; she modeled the clothes of many premier designers, such as Dior, Emilio Pucci, Fendi, Lavin, Prada and Yves Saint Laurent. Suvi did a lot of magazine reading when her makeup was being applied and a lot backstage dancing. Mrs. Koponen reported that in every collection presentation there is always a lot of taping and adjustments being made backstage, because at times, models don't fit into garment.
At this moment, this blonde model feels more mature; now, she is patient, positive and more concerned about other people’s feelings. And at the age of 25, Suvi is at the peak of her career and feels truly fulfilled.
