Actress Tania Raymonde played the titular role in the television movie Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret, which aired on Lifetime at the weekend. Tania has now opened up about playing the role of the real life killer, admitting that she found it a difficult role to get into at times.
Raymonde was chatting about the movie, when she explained, "It was a very difficult nut to crack, but absolutely, my job is to try to immerse myself into the character as much as I could."
She added, "It was difficult because I know the gravity of what she did and I would watch Travis' family in the courtroom mourning the loss of their child. As the same time, I was sympathetic to the character I was playing. I tried to play her as objectively as I could."
Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret focusses on the events leading up to the murder of Travis Alexander, for which Jodi was convicted of murder. Arias was convicted of first degree murder last month but the jury failed to come to a unanimous decision on whether she should face life in prison, or death. A retrial will begin next month.
As for the movie Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret, the film also starred Cynthia Addai-Robinson and was directed by Jace Alexander.
