Twilight star Taylor Lautner has revealed that, although he will be eternally grateful for his role in the Twilight franchise, he wants to now put it behind him, as he aims to make new movies. Taylor stated that people need to forget about his role as Jacob in Twilight when they go to see his new films, as they will be disappointed if they just expect him to play the same character all of the time.
Lautner explained, "You kind of just have to realize that Twilight is Twilight and it's unlike anything else. So forget about that for a second and if you can do that then you're fine! Because we do what we love to do and do things we are passionate about and really hope that people enjoy them."
While the Twilight Saga has completed all of the necessary filming, there is still the final movie to be released from the franchise. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is set to hit the big screen on November 16, 2012. Meanwhile, Taylor Lautner is set to appear in the Bill Collage fantasy, Sci-Fi drama Incarceron, which is set to be released next year.
