There have been some fantastic television shows over the years and there are millions of people around the world who will forever love the hit series Gossip Girl, which made household names of a number of the stars involved. While many of these stars have taken their acting career to the next level, there is one star who has turned their back on the acting game completely.

For many people, Taylor Momsen will forever be remembered for playing the role of Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, despite the fact that she has since gone on to enjoy plenty of success as the lead singer of the band The Pretty Reckless. Taylor has now been talking about her decision to quit her acting career for music, insisting that she has absolutely no regrets about the decision.
Momsen told the Washington Times newspaper, "It wasn't my passion at all. Music was my passion, and I really needed to focus on that full-time. Acting was just a job. I quit and haven't looked back. We're all a big family at this point, so there's no secrets. We share a bus and we share dressing rooms."

She added, "It's very much a family. In one way, the longer you've been doing it, the more challenging it becomes because you get so used to the grind. But at the same time, it becomes easier because you're more familiar with it. Touring is like a second home in a way because we're on the road so much."
Fans of Taylor Momsen are still always calling for her to make a return to acting, but it looks like that might never actually happen, at least not any time soon anyway.
