You could be forgiven for thinking that former Gossip Girl actress, Taylor Momsen is just another actor or actress who have gone off to try and make it as a musician. However, Taylor insists that music has always come first in her life and that she is more of a musician than she ever was an actress. When asked which she prefers to do, Taylor made it pretty clear.
Momsen explained, “Music. I don't have to think about it. I always get asked that question and they're so different, you can't compare the two. One of them, acting, is a job for me that I've done my whole life, I started at 3. So it's been a big part of my life and it's what I knew but I didn't choose it so it was very much a job for me. But I chose music and it's something that I've worked on from a very young age as well.”
She added, “I would consider myself a musician who also acts, not the other way around. I couldn't live without writing songs or making music, even if it was just for myself.” Taylor Momsen quit Gossip Girl and acting all together, earlier this year, as she attempts to make an impact on the music scene with her band The Pretty Reckless.
