It seems that Taylor Swift is building a British circle of friends, as she has previously revealed that she has become friends with Ellie Goulding and now she has taken a shine to another English musician. Taylor has now confirmed that she and The A Team singer Ed Sheeran became friends after Taylor baked him an apple pie.
Swift explained, “We became fast friends, we became pals right away... It was so much fun because we had my friends over and we had this big dinner and we baked and we danced around the kitchen and he played us all this new music from the U.K that we hadn't heard before.”
She added, “At the end of the night we ended up getting out two guitars and sitting on the kitchen floor jamming and playing music - it was so fun. He didn't have much of a part in the actual baking process. We wanted him to have an American experience so we baked him an apple pie. Isn't that cute?”
As well as becoming good friends and sharing a love of pies, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran have also worked together on a song. The track, which is titled Everything Has Changed, is set to appear on the upcoming Taylor Swift album Red.
