When Tina Fey first made a joke about Taylor Swift at the Golden Globe Awards, it seemed that the joke would just end there. However, because Fey made the joke about Swift staying away from Michael J. Fox’s young song, a reporter went ahead and interviewed Michael J. Fox about the incident.
When the reporter asked Fox what he would think about a hook-up between his son and Swift, he said, “No. No ... Just back off. I don't keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career ... I wouldn't even know who she was."
It seems that Taylor Swift’s fans mobilized on Twitter and badgered Fox until he apologized, which Swift assured us he just did. She took to her Twitter to say, “Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good. Thank you for having my back.”
It’s not been a good week for Taylor Swift, has it? First, rumors about Harry Styles dumping her and moving on spread across the internet, then she gets made fun of on live television at the Golden Globes in front of millions of viewers, and then she loses to Adele for Best Song. Let’s hope her luck gets better, or we likely won’t hear the end of it on the radio.
