Singer Taylor Swift is one of the biggest stars on the planet and she has developed a bit of a reputation as being the good girl of the entertainment industry. There has been a general belief that Taylor Swift does not have any vices but the singer has admitted that she does drink from time to time and finds it strange that people make such a big deal about it.
Swift was chatting to Barbara Walters, when she explained, "I mean, I do drink, I am 25. So it's not like, I mean... Yeah, I was at a Knicks game and I had a beer and everybody was like, 'Ohhh!' I was like, 'Tsk.' I did wait until I was 21 to drink. I was so paranoid about getting in trouble or setting the wrong example or sending the wrong message."
As well as opening up about her experiences with alcohol, Taylor Swift also went on to talk about how she is perceived by the public and how what she does affects others and not just herself. Taylor insists that she is careful not to do anything too reckless, as she knows she has young fans who look up to her as a role model.
Swift added, "That's the reality. If I do something reckless or thoughtless or careless, or I treat someone badly, that doesn't just affect me; it affects that person. Then, if that story gets out, or some 10-year-old sees that I did that in a news article... my actions do have ripples."
Taylor Swift has become a very popular person over the years and, as well as having a huge fan base around the world, she has also made plenty of celebrity friends along the way.
