Singer Taylor Swift is reportedly in talks to play Joni Mitchell in a big-screen adaptation of the folk stars life.
Producers are working on a film version of Sheila Weller's book, Girls Like Us, and are believed to be interested in securing Taylor for the role of Joni.
Girls Like Us tells the story of Mitchell's rise to prominence, along with Carole King and Carly Simon, in the 1960's. It is rumoured that Midnight In Paris actress, Alison Pill, will play Simon should the movie be greenlit by a studio.
