It has been reported that although Terminator 5 has been put on hold, it is still very much intended to be made. Arnold Schwarzenegger was all set to make a return to the Terminator franchise but since news of his love child broke, he has decided to put all future projects on hold.
However, it is believed that everyone else involved in the movie is keen to push it forward and there has even been a mention of Paul Walker starring in Terminator 5. This will come as no surprise, since Fast Five director Justin Lin has been given the responsibility of helming the film.
There has been no definite confirmation of Paul Walker's involvement but it is being widely speculated that he will play a young Kyle Reese. Kyle Reese was the character that helped Sarah Connor, played by Linda Hamilton, fight against Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator in the first movie.
It is believed that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role in the movie will be cut down, so that he can deal with his personal problems and still be involved in the film. Terminator 5 is not expected to be released until 2014.
