When it comes to acting, while most actors and actresses in Hollywood do their job for the love of acting, there is still always a small piece of them that would love to win an award, giving them the recognition that their talent deserves. While the movie stars would ideally love to win an Oscar, the television stars are all about winning a Primetime Emmy Award. The Emmy Awards 2014 have now taken place and, as is always the case with awards ceremonies, there were some good things and some bad. Here we give you our best and worst moment of the Emmy Awards 2014.
That brilliant kiss
So lets start with the best moment of the 2014 Emmy Awards and, in all fairness, there were quite a few to choose from. However, our favourite moment of the ceremony was that brilliant point where Bryan Cranston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus kissed, when Julia went up to collect her award that Bryan was presenting. A moment of Emmy greatness.
Ok, so that brings us to what we felt was the worst moment of the Primetime Emmy Awards 2014 and we are sure that there will be plenty of you who will agree with us on this. For us, it has to be that strange rant that Julia Roberts had while on stage to present the Best Actor in a Drama Series award. Does anybody actually know what she was on about?
