The Big Bang Theory producers were quick to jump on the Super Bowl bandwagon to gain publicity for the hit comedy series.

A promotional video was released during the Super Bowl XLVII telecast showing the main characters getting up to their usual tricks, much to the amusement of the crowds. Getting into the football spirit for the event, Sheldon Cooper and the gang put on football uniforms in the video.
The series follows a group of scientists as they experience the world of work, dating and socializing with hilarious outcomes.

In the promo, Leonard looks coy as Sheldon points out that the experimental physicist has his shoulder pads on inside out. Leonard's girlfriend, waitress Penny adds, "Cup, too."
The actors who play Penny and Leonard - Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki, have admitted to previously dating.
Kaley said: "We dated for almost two years. It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. This is the first time I've ever talked about it, ever. It was a wonderful relationship but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together. We were so protective of ourselves and the show and didn't want anything to ruin that."

Network producers over at CBS must have been busy as they also revealed a raunchy new promo for its other hit comedy series, 2 Broke Girls, during the Super Bowl last night (Sunday 3rd February).The characters Max and Caroline can be seen seductively stirring cream, among other mischievous activities including pole dancing.
