The Big Bang Theory is now well into its latest season and while other new season, such as How I Met Your Mother, appear to have lost their way, The Big Bang Theory is as strong as ever. The writers and actors and everybody involved in the show deserve a huge pat on the back.
How I Met Your Mother seems to have become too self involved and the fun and comedy that used to be there is fast waning. However, The Big Bang Theory is as funny as ever, with its constant comedy and storylines that are interesting yet not overbearing.
In How I Met Your Mother, Barney was always the funny guy that seemed to carry the show but it seems that they have stuck him in a relationship and camped him up. Meanwhile, in The Big Bang Theory each character has their own witty lines and Sheldon is as funny as always.
The only slight, teeny tiny down point of the latest season of The Big Bang Theory are the scenes where the girls are all together. The chemistry between the girls doesn’t quite seem to be there and those scenes are less funny than the ones with the guys.
However, they are still funnier than the majority of the How I Met Your Mother scenes. How I Met Your Mother continues on CBS every Monday and while it is going downhill we will continue to watch it. The Big Bang Theory continues on CBS every Thursday night.
