The Big Bang Theory’s executive producer Bill Prady, has revealed how the writers of the show often draw on their own experiences for some aspects of the show. Bill admits that they aim to show the viewer that, being smart is not always a good thing when it comes to interacting with others.
Prady explained, “People talk about the show being a smart show. It’s about smart characters. But one of the points of the show is that being smart doesn’t necessarily give you a leg up when it comes to dealing with other people. I think we here among the geeky and the nerdish draw on our own experiences.”
Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny in the hit CBS show, recently posted a picture of herself on the set of the show, performing yoga. The Big Bang Theory is set to return for its fifth run on CBS, when the new season premieres on September 22.
