When it comes to the modelling industry, they seem to begin modelling from a very young age and there can often been a lot of debate about whether it is right for the modelling industry to allow girls to get involved at such a young age. This has been no more obvious than in the career of the very young French model Thylane Blondeau.
Thylane Blondeau has been in the modelling industry since she was just a toddler, becoming a well-known child model and fashion model since the age of four. Now, at the age of 13 years old, Thylane Blondeau is looking to progress in her modelling career, which has already been shrouded in controversy in recent years.
The issues arose when Thylane Blondeau was involved in a modelling campaign for French Vogue, which did not go down too well with a lot of people. The critics claimed that such a young girl should not be appearing in a publication such as Vogue, which is widely regarded as being a traditionally adult role, not one for a child, which is technically what Thylane Blondeau still is.
With that said, Thylane Blondeau seems to have a strong enough team around her to shrug these criticisms off, continuing to grow in her modelling career, even going on to model fo Lacoste since the controversial Vogue shoot. It will be interesting to see where the modelling career of Thylane Blondeau goes from here and we well be watching her with great interest over the coming years.
